駅のすぐそばにもショッピングモールがあり、衣服や雑貨などと買い物で不便するということはない。駅内にも様々な飲食店があり買い物に関しては申し分ない。

幕張新都心、と言うだけあって飲食店の数は非常に多い。ただいわゆるチェーン店が多く、幕張ならでは、という店は少ない。また正直に言って「これは美味い」というお店もなく、外食する時はどこに行こうか悩んでしまう事もある。
As it is called Makuhari New City, the number of restaurants is very large. However, there are many so-called chain stores, and there are few stores that are unique to Makuhari. Also, to be honest, there are no restaurants that say, “This is delicious,” and when I go out to eat, I sometimes wonder where to go.
インターナショナルスクールがある。各種全国でも有数の進学校がある。共稼ぎが多く、児童託児所なども多い。

通勤にはJR京葉線が使える。また、武蔵野線で西船橋に出れば、他のルートで東京方面への移動が可能。高速バスは、羽田、成田空港行が出ており空港アクセスもよい。
You can use the JR Keiyo Line for commuting. Also, if you take the Musashino Line to Nishifunabashi, you can travel to Tokyo by other routes. Highway buses go to Haneda and Narita airports, and airport access is good.
