The Ryozen Honbyo Shrine is one of the 36 peaks of Higashiyama in Kyoto, and is known as the shrine of Saint Shinran Soso.
ここは真宗興正派（本山興正寺）の別院で、「興正寺本廟」（ ほんびょう）とも称されています。
It is a separate temple of the Shin Buddhist Koshoji sect (Honyama Koshoji), and is also called the “Koshoji Main Shrine”.

本山興正寺（霊山本廟）👦
Motoyama Koshoji
霊山本廟（りょうぜん ほんびょう）は清水寺から産寧坂を下り、高台寺に向かう散策路の途中に位置しており、全国の興正派門信徒のご遺骨を納める場所でもあります。
The Ryozen Honbyo Temple is located in the middle of the walking path from Kiyomizu-dera Temple down Sanningzaka to Kodai-ji Temple, and is also a place where the remains of Koshomon believers from all over Japan are stored.
明治9年に建立され、宗祖親鸞（しんらん）聖人の廟堂（びょうしょ）や歴代ご門主のお墓所とともに、宗派の納骨所として親しまれてきました。美しい自然の風景に囲まれた場所で、多くの人々が訪れています。🌸
Built in the 9th year of the Meiji era, it has been popular as an ossuary for the sect, along with the mausoleum of the saint Shinran and the graves of successive lords. It is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery and is visited by many people.

清水寺から三年坂を下って行くと寺号碑が目に入りました。観光客の多い三年坂から少し入ると静かな参道が続き、その先には駐車場もありました。更に進むと石段を上がった場所に本堂が立ち、建物自体は新しい感じのものとなっており、観光客を対象とした寺院とは異なっているようでした。
When I went down the slope from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, I saw the temple monument. A little after entering from Sannenzaka, where there are many tourists, a quiet approach continues, and there is a parking lot at the end of it. Further on, the main hall stood at the top of the stone steps, and the building itself was new, and it seemed to be different from the temple for tourists.
三年坂から東山へず～っと坂・階段をひたすら上がって行きます。観光客には一人も会うこともなくとても静かでしたが、御廟の前には沢山のお花が供えられていました。三年坂の近くでもちょっとはずれるとこんな静かなところがあるんだ、と思いました。
From Sannenzaka to Higashiyama, I will go up the slope and stairs all the way ~ and all the time. It was very quiet with no tourists to meet, but there were many flowers in front of the shrine. I thought that there was such a quiet place if you deviated a little from the vicinity of Sannenzaka.
どの宗教にとっても宗祖のご廟所（びょうしょ）となれば、非常に大事なところでしょうね。町家風商店が続く三年坂を歩けば、突然開けた参道に出ます。静かにお参りさせて頂きました。
It must be a very important place for any religion to become a shrine for the founders of the sect. If you walk along the three-year slope where the machiya-style shops continue, you will suddenly come to an open approach. I visited quietly.
