天満四丁目は、天神橋商店街に近く、エリア内にも飲食店が多くあります。また、大阪にお越しの観光客にも人気があるスポットで、天満四丁目付近には、天満天神繁昌亭や大阪天満宮などの観光スポットもあります。

「天満天神繁昌亭」は、大阪府大阪市北区天神橋二丁目にある寄席で、上方落語の定席の一つです。落語を中心に、漫才、俗曲などの色物芸の興行が連日執り行われています。通称「繁昌亭」とも呼ばれています。
“Tenma Tenjin Shigeshotei” is a vaudeville theater located in Tenjinbashi 2-chome, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, and is one of the fixed seats of Kamigata rakugo. Centered on rakugo, colorful performances such as comics and folk songs are held every day. It is also commonly known as “Traditional Changtei”.
2003年に上方落語協会の会長に就任した桂文枝さんが、戦前にあった上方落語をきける落語の定席を作りたいとの思いから、つくられた演芸場です。上方に唯一の定席、天満天神繁昌亭誕生しました。
This is an entertainment hall created by Fumie Katsura, who became the president of the Kamigata Rakugo Association in 2003, with the desire to create a fixed seat for rakugo that existed before the war. The only fixed seat in the upper part, Tenma Tenjin Shigeshotei, was born.
桂文枝さんは、日本の落語家、タレント、司会者として有名です。1966年 五代目桂文枝に入門 、2012年7月 六代目、桂文枝を襲名されました。現在は、上方落語の名跡「桂文枝」の当代です。
Fumie Katsura is famous as a Japan rakugo artist, talent, and presenter. In 1966, he joined the fifth generation Katsura Fumie, and in July 2012, he attacked the sixth generation Katsura Fumie. Currently, it is the current generation of the famous site of Kamigata rakugo “Katsura Fumie”.
「大阪天満宮」は、大阪市北区天神橋にある神社で、菅原道真公をお祀りした神社です。市民の皆さまからは「天満の天神さん」と呼ばれ親しまれています。毎年7月24日から25日にかけて行われる「天神祭」は、日本三大祭、大阪三大夏祭りとして有名です。
“Osaka Tenmangu” is a shrine located in Tenjinbashi, Kita-ku, Osaka City, and is a shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michishinko. It is affectionately called “Tenma no Tenjin-san” by the citizens. The Tenjin Festival, held from July 24 to 25 every year, is famous as one of the three major Japan festivals and the three major summer festivals in Osaka.
