桜橋について、探偵1日料金を３時間調査39.800円（当社料金）と仮定して調査してきましたのでご報告します。近松門左衛門の人形浄瑠璃「心中天網島」の道行「道行名残の橋尽し」に別れを嘆き悲しみて、あとにこがるる桜橋とうたわれているそうです。

桜橋自体は、かつては交差点よりも50mほど南の四つ橋筋上に位置していました。この付近の川堤にあったサクラの古木が倒れて橋の役目をしたことから「桜橋」と名付けられたと言われています。

北新地は、高級なクラブやバーが多く、大阪の中でも特に高級な歓楽街として知られています。また、北新地は大阪駅からも近く、アクセスが良いことも特徴の一つです。
