1. 西口（相鉄口）交番を背にして高島屋の建物に沿って歩く
2. タクシー乗り場・西口派出所の先、右手入り口から駅ビルに入る
3. 入ったらまっすぐ進む
4. 階段を降りたら中央通路（東西自由通路）に出ます。
5. 中央通路（東西自由通路）をまっすぐ進めば、東口（地下街ポルタの入り口）に到着します。

横浜駅周辺で繁華街、歓楽街エリアはどこかと聞かれたら、私なら「みなみ西口（相鉄口）」周辺と答えると思います。

If you were to ask me where the downtown area and entertainment district area around Yokohama Station are, I would probably answer the area around the Minami West Exit (Sotetsu Exit).

相鉄口前交番で待ち合わせをしたことがある人はご存知かと思いますが、横浜ビブレ周辺とドンキホーテあたりのごちゃ感、ラウンドワン奥の怪しげな感じ、ビックカメラの前にキャッチの人がいつもいて、横浜にしてはゴミもけっこう落ちてて、そんな感じが「みなみ西口」周辺です。

If you have ever met at the Sotetsuguchi Police Box, you may know that the area around Yokohama Bibre and Don Quijote is jumbled, the suspicious feeling at the back of Round One, there is always a catch person in front of the Bic Camera, and there is a lot of garbage in Yokohama, and such a feeling is the area around the “Minami West Exit”.

横浜駅の各路線改札を起点として、西口へいく方法を紹介してきましたが、意外と需要があるのが東から西への横断。

ちなみに夜間は、東西中央通路は閉鎖されます。
