京都府京都市上京区京都御苑内にある「宗像神社」⇒795年に桓武天皇の勅命により、皇居鎮護の神として宗像大社より勧請し、自邸の西南隅に祀ったのが始まり。注目株は「少将井社 」で、祭神はスサノオの妻「クシイナダ」 。
In 795, by order of Emperor Kammu, Munakata ⇒Taisha was solicited by Munakata Taisha as a god of protection for the Imperial Palace, and was enshrined in the southwest corner of his residence. The hot stock is “Shoshoisha”, and the deity of the festival is Susanoo’s wife “Kushiinada”.
中京区の少将井・少将井御旅両町の間にあった八坂神社旅所を遷祀したものらしい。そのため、現在も祇園祭の後祭で八坂神社から神職が参拝し、祇園祭斎行の報告をするそうです。
It seems to have been relocated from the Yasaka Shrine Inn, which was located between the towns of Shoshoi and Shoshoi in Nakagyo Ward. Therefore, it is said that even now, Shinto priests from Yasaka Shrine visit the shrine after the Gion Festival and report on the Gion Festival.
京都御所の続きにあるのでジョギングするひとも多く広いのでベンチに休憩してる人も多かったです。のんびりと散策できるので気持ちよい気分になっていました。
