渉成園（しょうせいえん）は、1641年に江戸幕府三代将軍・徳川家光から東本願寺に寄進されました。国の名勝に指定されており、園内には1653年に作庭された池泉（ちせん）回遊式庭園があります。
Shoseien was donated to Higashi Honganji Temple in 1641 by Tokugawa Iemitsu, the third shogun of the Edo shogunate. It has been designated as a national scenic spot, and there is a pond spring walking garden created in 1653 in the park.
園内の建物は二度にわたり焼失しましたが、明治時代に順次再建されました。四季折々の花が咲きほこり、変化に富んだ景観は「十三景」と称され、文人趣味にあふれる仏寺庭園として知られています。
The buildings in the park were destroyed by fire twice, but were rebuilt sequentially during the Meiji era. The seasonal flowers bloom and the dusty and varied scenery is called the “Thirteen Views” and is known as a Buddhist temple garden full of literati taste.
