We would like to report that we have been investigating Heian Jingu Shrine assuming that the one-day fee for a detective is 39.800 yen (our fee) for a 3-hour survey.

1895年に遷都1100年を記念して創建されました。この神社は平安遷都の1100年を祝して建てられ、平安京の雅な雰囲気を模した朱塗りの社殿が美しく立ち並んでいます。

約3万㎡の回遊式庭園や神苑もあり、春の紅しだれ桜や初夏の花菖蒲など、四季折々に美しい景色が広がっています。朱色の大鳥居、 正面の応天門やその奥の大極殿、蒼龍楼、白虎楼は圧巻です。

There is also a walking garden of about 30,000 square meters and a divine garden, and beautiful scenery spreads out in all four seasons, such as red weeping cherry blossoms in spring and irises in early summer. The vermilion-colored Great Torii Gate, the Otenmon Gate in front and the Great Hall behind it, the Soryu Tower, and the White Tiger Tower are masterpieces.

建造物はとても素敵でしたが、釣燈籠が特に印象に残りました。残念ながら、時間の余裕が無かったので、池の臥龍橋を渡ったり、池に鏡のように景色が映っているのを眺めたりする散策が出来なかったのは残念です。

The structure was very nice, but the fishing lantern was particularly impressive. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time, so I couldn’t take a walk across the Garyu Bridge on the pond or look at the reflection of the scenery in the pond like a mirror.

平安神宮に向かう際の巨大な鳥居に圧巻しました。商売繁盛と厄除けにご利益があるようで参拝客で混んでました。御朱印は手書きで書いてくれます。

I was overwhelmed by the huge torii gate on the way to Heian Shrine. It seemed to have benefits for prosperous business and amulet, and it was crowded with worshippers. The red seal is written by hand.

イベントなどもない、平日のお昼ごろに調査の合間のお散歩観光で訪問しました。平安神宮がある「岡崎エリア」は京都のなかでも珍しく、土地が広々と使われており美術館やホールなども多くあります。なので空が広く、薄雲がかかった夕焼けが本当にきれいでした。

There were no events, so I visited around noon on a weekday for a walk in between surveys. The Okazaki area, where Heian Jingu Shrine is located, is rare in Kyoto, and the land is used extensively, and there are many museums and halls.So the sky was wide and the sunset with light clouds was really beautiful.

観光客や入場無料のためペットの散歩をしている人はそこそこいらっしゃいましたが、それでもかなり広いためほかの人の声は出入り口やお参りする付近以外ではあまり聞こえないような状態。とても凛とした空気間がありました。

There were a lot of tourists and people walking their pets because admission was free, but it was still quite wide, so other people’s voices could not be heard much except at the entrance and near the entrance. There was a very dignified atmosphere.

建築の様式は京都にはあまりない平城風。禅寺が多いエリアの中ではとても華美で珍しいものです。時代は浅い寺社ではありますが、岡崎エリアのお散歩の際にはおすすめできるスポットです。

The style of architecture is Heijo style, which is not often found in Kyoto. It is very ornate and rare in an area where there are many Zen temples. Although it is a temple and shrine of a short age, it is a recommended spot when taking a walk in the Okazaki area.

休日にはバザーやフリーマーケット、また、ライブなども行われていますので賑やかな場面も楽しめまるそうです。京都観光のおすすめスポットといっても間違いないでしょう。

On holidays, bazaars, flea markets, and live performances are also held, so you can enjoy the lively scene. There is no doubt that it is a recommended spot for sightseeing in Kyoto.
