兎我野町とは、知る人が知る「北の風俗街」なのである。知らない人のためにというか、知らない奥さんのために今回風俗街を調査してきてブログ記事を書きました。
Togano-chō is known by those who know it as the “northern red-light district”. For those who don’t know, or for my wife who doesn’t know, I researched red-light districts and wrote a blog article this time.
その前に、兎我野町といえば「太融寺」にお参りしないと神様に怒られますので、手を合わせて無病息災をお願いしてきました。個人的なお願いもいろいろしてきました。

兎我野町には、２０数件のラブホテルが密集している。JR大阪駅から徒歩15分と便利なこともあり、日中を通して大繁盛してるわけである。この日も、サラリーマン風の男性が太融寺の境内の中で、それらしき女性と待ち合わせをして、腕を組みながらラブホテルに堂々と入っていった。
There are more than 20 love hotels in Togano-chō. It’s a convenient 15-minute walk from JR Osaka Station, so it’s very busy throughout the day. On this day as well, a man who looked like a salaryman met a woman who appeared to be one of them in the precincts of Taiyu-ji Temple, and proudly entered the love hotel with his arms folded.
写真を撮影しながら歩いていると、サラリーマン風の男性と女性がラブホテルに出入りするのを目撃した。まあ、この辺では当たり前の光景というわけである。
As I was walking around taking pictures, I saw a man and a woman who looked like office workers going in and out of a love hotel. Well, it’s a common sight around here.
駐車場を完備してるラブホテルはない。ということは、クルマで密かに逢引きとはいかない。隠そうと思っても隠せない、すべてホテルの出入りが丸見えなのである。

みなさんのお住いの地域でもラブホテルはあるとは思うが、こうした点が、他所のラブホテル街とは違う点だといえる。兎我野町独特の演出効果が表れているのである。

３時間ほどの調査であったが、いたるところで、サラリーマン風の男性と女性が腕を組みながらラブホテルに入っていくのを確認した。それとともに、ラブホテルから出て来る男女も確認している。

このように、兎我野町は浮気や不倫をする男女の憩いの場となっているのである。ここにくる男女はかなり慣れていると思われる。はじめてでは、なかなかスムーズにはいかない。
