If you come from Umeda, Osaka, you can get to Tsukimiyama Station without changing trains if you take the Hanshin Limited Express. At Tsukimiyama Station, arrive at the Himeji-bound platform, cross the railroad crossing on the premises, and exit the ticket gate on the Osaka-Umeda-bound platform.

調査報告書（月見山）
月見山駅(山陽電鉄本線 山陽姫路・須磨浦公園方面)ということで、神戸三宮駅からは山陽電車になるわけでした。大阪梅田からは阪神電車の姫路行特急に乗れば、乗り換えなしで月見山駅まで来れます。時間的には４０分くらいで非常に快適な道のりでした。
Tsukimiyama Station (Sanyo Electric Railway Main Line Sanyo Himeji/Sumaura Park direction), so from Kobe Sannomiya Station it became Sanyo Train. From Osaka Umeda, you can get to Tsukimiyama Station without changing trains by taking the limited express train bound for Himeji on the Hanshin Railway. It took about 40 minutes and was a very comfortable ride.
月見山駅の改札を出ますと、西尾豆腐店がお出迎えしてくれます。駅前の道は、右手は山側、左が海側になっている。山側に少し行くと、月見山郵便局がある。周りは閑静な住宅街となっていて道もキレイに清掃されていました。
After exiting the ticket gates of Tsukimiyama Station, you will be greeted by Nishio Tofu Shop. The road in front of the station faces the mountains on the right and the sea on the left. If you go a little further to the mountain side, you will find the Tsukimiyama Post Office. The surrounding area was a quiet residential area and the roads were clean.
駅前によくある「自転車の無法駐輪」はどうなっているかと見てみましたが、駅前の道幅がクルマ１台が通るくらいだし、駅前は広くもないし、すぐ横は踏切ということもあって自転車の無法駐輪は見かけられませんでした。なので、スムーズに改札の出入りが出来ました。
I tried to see what happened to the common “illegal bicycle parking” in front of the station, but the road in front of the station is only wide enough for one car to pass, and the area in front of the station is not wide, and there is a railroad crossing right next to it. I didn’t see any illegally parked bicycles. So, I was able to go in and out of the ticket gate smoothly.
駅前を左手に行くと、お店や銀行、ショッピングセンターなどがあり生活には何ら支障はないようです。というか、非常に静かなので生活するにはうってつけだと思います。落ち着いて生活したいとお考えの方におすすめの町です。ありがとうございました。
If you go to the left in front of the station, there are shops, banks, shopping centers, etc., so it doesn’t seem to hinder your daily life. I mean, it’s very quiet, so I think it’s perfect for living. It is a recommended town for those who want to live calmly.
