桜之宮公園には、造幣局などの明治初期を代表する建物があります.。また、泉布観という建物もあります。これらの建物は、桜之宮公園の散策と合わせて訪れることができます。

旧桜宮公会堂は、明治4年竣工の造幣寮（現：造幣局）の正面玄関を移築した建物で、昭和10年に明治天皇記念館として建てられた重厚感あふれる歴史的建築物です. ただし、現在はレストランとして営業されていました。
The former Sakuranomiya Public Hall is a building that relocated the main entrance of the Mint dormitory (now the Mint) completed in Meiji 4, and is a profound historical building built as the Meiji Emperor Memorial Hall in Showa 10. However, it was now operating as a restaurant.
すぐ横の庭園では、大きな鯉がたくさん泳いでおりました。誰でも自由に散歩できるようになっていますし、警備員の人もいませんので、鯉泥棒が来ないのかと心配になりました。

また、旧明治天皇記念館というのがあります。現在は、旧桜宮公会堂の正面玄関入口前に表示板が設置されていますが、出入りは出来なくなっています。
