京都府京都市上京区京都御苑内にある「厳島神社」⇒池と傍らの拾翠亭はもと九条家のもので、この社は同家の鎮守社だった。社前の石鳥居は笠木が唐破風で京都三珍鳥居の一つ。祭神は宗像三神となっています。

The pond and the Susuitei next to the pond of the “Itsukushima Shrine” in Kyoto Gyoen, Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture⇒ originally belonged to the Kujo family, and this shrine was the family’s shrine. The stone torii gate in front of the shrine is one of Kyoto’s three rare torii gates. The three deities of the festival are Munakata.

京都御所を取り囲む、よく整備された広い公園です。苑内には旧公家屋敷の跡や庭園などの歴史的価値のある見所がいろいろとあります。砂利が敷き詰められており緑も多く、この中をゆっくりと散歩すると心が落ち着いてきますね。

It is a large and well-maintained park that surrounds Kyoto Gosho. There are various historical attractions such as the ruins of former official residences and gardens in the garden. It is paved with gravel and has a lot of greenery, and if you take a leisurely walk in it, you will feel calm.

京阪電車を利用しました。京阪神宮丸太町駅より徒歩10分ほどでした。鴨川沿いを歩いてから京都御苑に入りました。静かで車が来る心配もないのですが、ひたすら砂利道です。広大なので散歩するのにはいいです。苑内は、広いです。のんびり散策できました。

I took the Keihan train. It was about a 10-minute walk from Keihanshingu Marutamachi Station. After walking along the Kamo River, we entered Kyoto Gyoen. It’s quiet and you don’t have to worry about cars coming, but it’s just a gravel road. It’s a good place to take a walk because it’s vast. The garden is spacious. I was able to take a leisurely stroll.
