It is a temple of Jodo Shu in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City.

正式名称は「華頂山（かちょうざん）入信院」で、知恩院の塔頭（たっちょう）の一つとして知られています。

The official name is “Kachozan Irishin-in” and it is known as one of the towers of Chion-in.

この古い寺院は、東大路通から黒門へ向かう古門前通（ふるもんぜんどおり）の白川を渡った場所に位置しています。

This old temple is located across the Shirakawa River on Furumonzen Street from Higashioji-dori to Kuromon.

知恩院総門側に有る寺院です。ただ柵が有るので中には入れません。門から見た様子では綺麗に植木が整えられていました。どのような歴史が有るか説明書が有ると良いのですがね。

It is a temple on the side of the main gate of Chion-in. However, there is a fence, so you can’t go inside. From the gate, the plants were neatly arranged. It would be nice if there was an explanation of what kind of history it has.

浄土宗総本山、知恩院の塔頭（たっちょう）寺院なので、本尊は当然ながら阿弥陀如来像です。ここは寺院表札が掲示されているが、数十ある塔頭寺院の中には表札すら掲示してない寺院も多い、流石は閉鎖的な宗派ですね。

Jodo Shu Yes, it is a pagoda temple of Chion-in, so the main temple is naturally a statue of Amida Nyorai. There is a temple nameplate posted here, but there are many temples that do not even display a nameplate among the dozens of pagoda temples, which is a closed sect.
