京都府八幡市八幡旦所（たんしよ）にある道標で、江戸時代に建立された歴史的な道標です。この道標は長い間青林院の奥庭に保管されていましたが、最近、元の場所である八幡宮道に設置されました。

It is a signpost located in Hachiman City, Kyoto Prefecture, and is a historical signpost erected in the Edo period. This signpost was kept in the back garden of Seirin-in for a long time, but it was recently installed in its original location, Hachimangu Road.

150年以上前に建てられたこの道標は、私たちにとってかけがえのない歴史的遺産であり、後世に引き継ぐべきものとされています。

Built more than 150 years ago, this signpost is an irreplaceable historical heritage for us and should be passed on to future generations.

Hachimangu Road is part of the approach to Keihan Ishishimizu Hachimangu Shrine and is dotted with fascinating tourist attractions. The following is a model course of Hachimangu Road and its characteristics.

一ノ鳥居: 高さ9メートルの石造りの鳥居。八幡宮の文字は、平安時代の藤原行成による書を寛永時代の松花堂昭乗が書写したもので、「八」の字が神使の双鳩になっています。

頓宮: 年に一度の「勅祭・石清水祭」において山上の本殿より御神霊が遷御される重要な社殿。

高良神社: 石清水八幡宮の摂社で、八幡の氏神として親しまれています。吉田兼好の「徒然草」には、仁和寺の法師が八幡宮参詣に来た際、間違って高良神社に参詣したエピソードが記されています。

二ノ鳥居: 表参道を通ります。

大扉稲荷社: 富くじが流行した文政12年（1829年）頃に建立された社で、参拝者が富を得たことから信者らの寄進で建てられたと伝わっています。

三ノ鳥居: 表参道を通ります。

一ツ石: 走馬や競馬の出発点であり、「勝負石」とも呼ばれる勝運の石。お百度参りの地点とされています。

エジソン記念碑: エジソンと八幡の竹のゆかりにより建立されました。

石清水八幡宮: 都の裏鬼門を守護し、伊勢神宮に次ぐ国家第二の宗廟と称される日本三大八幡宮のひとつ。国宝の現社殿は三代将軍・徳川家光の造営によるもので、厄除けや勝運の社としても有名です。

男山展望台: 京都市内を眺めることができ、西は天王山、東は比叡山や宇治の山並みを望むことができます。

裏参道も通りながら、源頼朝の手植えの松やその他の見どころを楽しんでください。
