京都の静かな環境で、近くに平安神宮・京都市美術館がある観光地です。飲食店はたくさんあり京都市の中心的な繁華街である河原町にも近いです、

It is a tourist destination with a quiet environment in Kyoto, with Heian Jingu Shrine and Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art nearby. There are many restaurants and it is close to Kawaramachi, which is the central downtown area of Kyoto City.

目立った商業施設もありませが、平安神宮の最寄駅で平日は観光客も目立ち、銀閣寺・祇園等の観光スポットも市営バスを利用するのがおすすめです。

There are no conspicuous commercial facilities, but it is the nearest station to Heian Jingu Shrine, and tourists are conspicuous on weekdays, and it is recommended to use the municipal bus for sightseeing spots such as Ginkakuji Temple and Gion.

終点の出町柳から1駅のため、淀屋橋や京橋からお越しの場合は京阪特急で出町柳駅まで行き、準急で１駅バックすればいいです。お帰りは、三条駅で特急に乗り換えるときも必ず座れます。

It is one stop from the last stop, Demachiyanagi, so if you are coming from Yodoyabashi or Kyobashi, you can take the Keihan Limited Express to Demachiyanagi Station and go back one stop by semi-express. On the way back, you can always sit down when you change to the limited express at Sanjo Station.

市内繁華街（祇園四条）まで２駅、約８分で出れます。また、大阪淀屋橋まで１時間です。平安神宮というビッグな観光スポットがあることにより、その周りは最近開発が進んで賑わってきています。

京都のお土産「八ッ橋」発祥の地。京都のお土産といえば、やっぱり外せないのが「八ッ橋」ですね。「八ッ橋」は、お土産として有名なのですが、なぜか京都民はめったに食べないです。まぁ、東京民が「東京バナナ」ばっかり食べてないのと同じなんでしょうね。

The birthplace of Kyoto’s souvenir “Yatsubashi”. When it comes to souvenirs in Kyoto, you can’t miss “Yatsubashi”. “Yatsuhashi” is famous as a souvenir, but for some reason Kyotoites rarely eat it. Well, I guess it’s the same as the people of Tokyo who don’t eat “Tokyo Bananas” all the time.

「八ッ橋」は、米粉、砂糖、ニッキ（シナモン）を混ぜて蒸し、薄く伸ばした生地を焼き上げた堅焼き煎餅で、お箏の形を模しており、細長い瓦のような形です。

“Yatsuhashi” is a hard-baked rice cracker made by mixing rice flour, sugar, and Nikki (cinnamon), steaming it, and baking a thinly stretched dough, and is shaped like a koto and is shaped like an elongated tile.

また、蒸し終えて薄く伸ばした生地をそのまま一定サイズに切り出したものを「生八ッ橋」と呼びます。1960年代に発売を開始しました。純粋に生地だけのものと、正方形の生地を二つ折りにしてアンコやチョコレートを包んだものがあります。

In addition, the dough that has been steamed and thinly stretched and cut into a certain size as it is is called “raw yatsubashi”. It began to be released in the 1960s. Some are purely dough-only, while others are square pieces of dough folded in half and wrapped in anko or chocolate.

お土産には、やはり「生八ッ橋」でいろいろなものを包んだ、味の楽しめる八ッ橋のセットが人気のようです。

As a souvenir, it seems that the Yatsuhashi set, which is wrapped in various things with “raw Yatsubashi” and you can enjoy the taste, seems to be popular.
