秀吉の正妻ねねが建立したお寺ですが、決して他のお寺と比較しても派手さは感じられ無い、敢えて言えば質素な感じのお寺です。ねねの暮らしぶりが推察されました。
It is a temple built by Hideyoshi’s regular wife Nene, but it is a temple that does not feel flashy compared to other temples, and I dare say it is a simple temple. Nene’s way of life was inferred.
秀吉が実際使っていた24金を塗った船やねねが使っていた建物をそのまま移築した建造物は歴史が感じられ、とても美しく構造も学ぶところが多かったです。
The 24-karat gold painted ship that Hideyoshi actually used and the building that Nene used were relocated as they were, and the history was felt, and the structure was very beautiful and there were many things to learn about the structure.
霊屋（れいおく）の坐像（ざぞう）の下に座った姿勢でねねが埋葬されていると聞いて、歴史上の人物に会えたような気がしました。
When I heard that Nene was buried in a sitting position under the Zazo of Reiok, I felt like I had met a historical figure.
