三年坂（さんねんざか）は、八坂神社や知恩院、円山公園、高台寺、法観寺（八坂の塔）といった名所を結ぶルートに位置しており、観光客が絶えない場所です。
Sannen Zaka is located on a route that connects famous places such as Yasaka Shrine, Chion-in, Maruyama Park, Kodaiji Temple, and Hokanji Temple (Yasaka Tower), and is a place where tourists are constantly visiting.
沿道には土産物店、陶磁器店、料亭などが並び、賑やかな雰囲気が漂っています。また、町家風の建物や石畳の通りが、伝統的建造物群保存地区に選定されていることから、風情ある美しい景観を楽しむことができます。

三年坂（さんねんざか）は、歴史的な背景や由来についても興味深いです。名前の由来には諸説あり、一説では坂が大同3年に開かれたことにちなんで「三年坂」と呼ばれているとされています。

また、「産寧坂」（さんねい）という名前は、かつてこの地にあった泰産寺の子安塔へ通じる道であったことから付けられたとも言われています。さらに、豊臣秀吉の正室・北政所が子供の誕生を念じて坂を上がり、清水寺にお参りしたことからも名前の由来とされています。

八坂神社裏手から丸山公園を抜け、ねねの道を通って一念坂、二年坂、三年坂（さんねんざか）、清水坂を順に巡ると清水寺に辿り着けます。それぞれの坂の雰囲気が違って面白いです。ゆっくり歩くと25分～30分程掛かります。平日の昼間に行きましたが、めちゃ込みでした。
From the back of Yasaka Shrine, go through Maruyama Park, go through Nene-no-michi, and go around Isnenzaka, Ninenzaka, Sannenzaka (Mr./Ms. Nenzaka), and Kiyomizuzaka in order to reach Kiyomizu-dera. The atmosphere of each slope is different and interesting. If you walk slowly, it will take about 25~30 minutes. I went there during the daytime on a weekday, but it was very crowded.
清水寺前の三年坂（さんねんざか）は活気に溢れ大渋滞、貸衣装の和服を召した東南アジアの若い女性も数多く見られました。綺麗に着こなしていて、歩き方もおしとやかで美しい。
The Sannen Zaka in front of Kiyomizu-dera Temple was full of life, and there was a big traffic jam, and many young women from Southeast Asia were seen wearing Japanese costumes. She is beautifully dressed, and the way she walks is gentle and beautiful.
清水寺の行き帰りに寄りました。色々なお店が有りますが、最初に下る時の印象が風情と歴史を感じる坂で 長い間残っているのがびっくりします。これからも 大事に残して欲しいです。
