特別展「雪舟伝説―「画聖」の誕生―」（2024年4月13日～5月26日）
雪舟（せっしゅう）という画家の伝説や「画聖」としての誕生に焦点を当てた展示です。事前予約は不要で、混雑状況によりご入館の待ち時間が発生した際は、公式Twitterでお知らせされます。
特別展「日本、美のるつぼ―異文化交流の軌跡―」（2025年4月19日～6月15日）
異文化交流の歴史をたどりながら、美のるつぼとなった日本の文化を紹介する展示です。
名品ギャラリー：特別企画・特集展示
2024年6月18日からは「豊臣秀次公430回忌 特集展示」や「金工 修理完成記念 特別公開」、そして「上田コレクション収蔵記念 特集展示」などが予定されています。

ランチは敷地内にある前田珈琲で、とても美味しくいただきました。館内は見どころ満載で、美術館＆博物館好きにはたまりません。
Lunch was at Maeda Coffee on the premises, and it was very delicious. The hall is full of attractions, and it is irresistible for art museum lovers.
たくさんの刀剣に、絵巻物、書や仏像もあり、ずーっと見ていられました。混雑はしていましたが、比較的マナーの良い方ばかりでありがたかったです。
There were many swords, picture scrolls, calligraphy, and Buddha statues, and I was able to look at them for a long time. It was crowded, but I was grateful that all the people had relatively good manners.
ミュージアムショップに戻り、御朱印帳と袋を買い御朱印第一号をいただきました。今まで全国の寺社仏閣に行ってもお参りだけして帰ってきていたのが、新しい目的ができました。
I went back to the museum shop and bought a book and a bag and received the first red seal. Until now, even if I went to temples and shrines all over the country, I would only visit and come back, but now I have a new purpose.
