京都市東山区にある浄土宗の寺院で、山号は大黒（だいこく）山です。
It is a temple of the Jodo sect in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, and the SunName is Mt. Daikoku
本尊は青面（しょうめん）金剛とされています。正式名称は大黒山 金剛寺 庚申堂（こうしん‐どう）で、通称は八坂庚申堂（こうしん‐どう）とも呼ばれています。
The honzon is said to be the blue-faced Kongo. The official name is Daikokusan Kongoji Koshin-do, and it is also commonly known as Yasaka Koshin-do.

この寺は、行基（ぎょうき）によって奈良時代に創建され、その後の歴史的な出来事を経て再興されました。現在は、地元の住民や参拝者によって信仰されています。

ご存じの方も多いとも思いますが、カラフルなインスタ映えする寺院です。中にはくくり猿が所狭しと飾られていました。また、境内では結婚式に使うだろう写真撮影が多くなされていました。なんとなくほのぼのと感じました。
As many of you may know, it is a colorful and Instagrammable temple. Inside, there were a lot of monkeys on display. In addition, there were many photo shoots in the precincts that would be used for weddings. I felt that it was somehow heartwarming.
八坂庚申堂（こうしん‐どう）とも呼ばれています。狭い境内にたくさんの方がお参りしていました。お参り後は映える写真を撮りまくり。人が多いので撮影が難しいです。
It is also called Yasaka Koshindo. There was a Mr./Ms. visiting in the narrow precincts. After the visit, I took a lot of pictures. It is difficult to shoot because there are many people.
映えているのはカラフルな「くくり猿」があるから。500円で購入して奉納して欲を一つ我慢すると願いを叶えてくれるといわれています。近くの八坂の塔もインスタ映えスポットです。
It shines because of the colorful “kukuri monkey”. It is said that if you buy it for 500 yen, dedicate it, and put up with one greed, your wish will come true. The nearby Yasaka Tower is also an Instagrammable spot.
